We called these Tigger Tails one night to get my nieces to eat it. We had used spaghetti length noodles that were curled so they looked like a over stretched spring.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of curly pasta
  • 1 jar of red pasta sauce
  • 1- 15 oz can of tomato sauce
  • ½ - 1 lb of ground beef
  • Med. Onion, diced
  • 1 clove of garlic minced
  • Basil
  • Italian seasoning
  • ½ - ¾ lb Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • ½ - ¾ lb Provolone cheese shredded

Preparation

Step 1

Bring water up to a boil. Add salt to the water and drop pasta. Follow directions on bag for al dente.

While pasta is cooking. Brown meat with onions and garlic. Drain off grease. Add both jar and can of tomato sauce. Add Italian seasoning and basil to taste.

When pasta is al dente, drain and mix with meat sauce. Add mozzarella and provolone cheese to the mix making sure to leave some to top with.

Pour mixture into a 9X13 baking dish and top with remaining cheese. Put dish under the broiler until cheese is bubbly.
