Ingredients
- Pepper relish:
- 1 1/2 lb.Roast Beef, or stew meat
- 1 T olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 T garlic, chopped
- Bake until tender, can be done ahead, and in pressure cooker.
- 3 red yellow, or orange bell peppers, chopped
- 1/2 onion chopped
- 2/3 C sugar
- 1/2 C vinegar
- Simmer for about 45 minutes on medium, sir constantly.
- Au Jus sauce:
- 6 medium onions, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 4 T butter
- 1 T olive oil
- 1 t thyme
- 1 T balsamic vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 C white wine
- Heat in heavy soup pot over medium heat. Stir consistently until carmelized, about 30 minutes. Deglaze pan with wine, add beef stock and simmer for 15 more minutes. Can blend with hand blender for a s

- 1 large loaf Sourdough bread
- 8 oz. Cream cheese

Step 1
Follow instruction included within ingredients, then combine beef, relish, cream cheese, and havarti cheese onto sourdough bun. Dip in Au Jus sauce.
