Meatloaf Patties

These are great to make in large batches and freeze. The individual serving sizes are great for a college student or elderly parent or a quick dinner since you don't have to thaw a thick meatloaf.
Serve with cooked baby carrots or mashed potatoes.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef, crumbled
- 1 slice bread, torn into tiny pieces
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon Allspice
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1/4 green pepper, chopped
- 1 egg, whipped
- 1 cup tomato sauce

Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl mix all ingredients. With hands form into large patties. Place on cookie sheet covered with wax paper. Freeze. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap or freezer bags. To serve, thaw slightly and pan fry slowly. May need to add a little water to pan during last 3 minutes of cooking.
Note: You can substitute oatmeal for cubed bread.
