Ingredients
- 7-8 medium sized potatoes
- boiling water to cover
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cups butter
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup hot milk

Step 1
Pare potatoes; cut into quarters
Cover with boiling water in large kettle
Add 1 teaspoon salt.
Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook until tender, about 30 minutes.
Drain well and mash.
Add butter, 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper
Gradually add in milk.
Beat until light and fluffy.
