Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 16 oz box confectioners sugar
  • 1 16 oz package chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons solid shortening

Step 1

Line cookie sheet with wax paper

Mix peanut butter, vanilla, margarine, and sugar with hands until smooth.

Shape into balls. Place on wax paper and refrigerate.

In the meantime, melt chocolate chips and shortening in top of double boiler. Stir until melted and smooth pour into small measuring cup.

Remove balls from fridge. Insert toothpick into each and dip into melted chocolate, 3/4 of ball covered.

Place back on wax paper chocolate side down. Refrigerate 1 hour.

Store in plastic container using wax paper to separate layers.

Smooth over toothpick holes for better appearance.
