- 4 large sweet potatos - raw, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or nutmeg
- dash salt
- 3/4 stick butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 cup water

Step 1
Peel and thinly slice sweet potatoes. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. Layer half the sweet potatoes and cover with half the dry ingredients. Layer remaining sweet potatoes on top. Mix together the melted butter, lemon juice, and water. Gently pour over sweet potatoes and cover with remaining dry ingredients. Cover casserole and bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour.
