Ingredients
- Memphis Rub:
- One whole chicken
- Memphis Rub (see below)
- 1/4 c paprika
- 1/4 c seasoning salt
- 1-2 Tbsp packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp celery salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1-2 tsp chili powder

Preparation
Step 1
Take whole chicken, wash and pat dry. Rub with oil and then dry rub. Invert chicken on can. Can use apple juice or beer. Cook 1 to 1&1/2 hours on barbecue. Use indirect heat..medium/high (3/4).
