Ingredients

  • chocolate coating:
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 18 ounces chocolate chips (Toll House semi-sweet)
  • 1/2 stick paraffin wax

Preparation

Step 1

In a mixing bowl add all ingredients and mix well.

Form into eggs, refrigerate and then dip into chocolate.

Wrap individually if you desire and keep refrigerated.


For coating:

Melt chocolate chips and wax over a double boiler. Dip eggs into chocolate and let extra run off. I use a skewer to dip my eggs into the chocolate. Reheat chocolate as needed. I set my eggs on a baking sheet covered with waxed paper to set up in the refrigerator. Once set I wrap my eggs in colored saran wrap for the holidays and place them in a bowl in the refrigerator. Little hands always seem to find them!
