- 2 cups torn romaine lettuce leaves
- 2 kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced
- 2 medium oranges, peeled and sliced into 1/4-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion
- Vinaigrette dressing
- 2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 Tbsp. walnut oil
- 1 tsp. minced shallots

Step 1
Add the lettuce to a large platter. Top with the kiwis and oranges. Sprinkle the red onion slices on top.
In a small measuring cup, whisk together the vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper. Slowly add the oil in a thin stream, whisking constantly. Add in the shallots. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and serve.
