Orange Ginger Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 c butter or margarine, melted
• 2/3 c sugar
• 1 egg yolk
• 1 T finely grated orange peel
• 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 2 1/4 c flour

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°

In a large bowl, beat butter, sugar, egg yolk, orange peel, ginger, vanilla and salt until thoroughly combined.

Stir in flour until a dough is formed. Place dough in a cookie press and press cookies onto ungreased baking sheets. Decorate as desired.

Bake 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.
