  • 5 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp fresh chopped dill
  • 2 cups Swiss (or Gruyere) cheese, grated
  • 1 cup cream or milk
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1/3 cup Dijon mustard

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400F. Place one-third of the potatoes in a buttered 9" or 10" square baking dish. Season with salt and pepper, one-third of the dill and 1/3 cup cheese. Repeat layering, two times. In bowl, whisk cream, stock and mustard, until smooth. Pour over potato layers. Bake until tender, 60 to 75 minutes.
