Fresh Fruit Crumble
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup old=fashioned oats
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp finely grated lemon peel
- 3/4 tsp apple pie spice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 10 T butter, cut up
In mixer, combine all ingredients, except butter
Once combined, cut up butter into mixture until coarse crumbs form.
With fingers, squeeze to form large chunks. transfer to resealable plastic bag. freeze for up to 2 months.
Sprinkle on whatever fruit is in season (toss fruit with a little sugar first)
Bake at 375 for 45 min. or until fruit is soft and bubbly. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream
