Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter, chilled and cut up
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 3 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon cloves
- 1 egg
- 1 egg white
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup lowfat buttermilk
- 2 cups apple, thinly sliced, Rome Apples

Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat oven to 350.
2. Combine flour and sugar, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal.
3. Beat together sugar-eggs. Combine flour-salt, alternately add to sugar with buttermilk, beginning and ending with flour. Pour into sprayed 9" round cake pan.
4. Place apples spokelike on top of batter, top with crumbs.
5. Bake 55 mins, or until tester tests clean. Cool in pan 10 mins on rack.
