Ingredients
- 3/4 C All Purpose Flour
- 3/4 C sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 stick butter, soft
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tablespoon of Lemon juice
- zest of 1/2 lemon (about 1t)

Preparation
Step 1
Combine the flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
Mix in the softened butter.
In another bowl whisk the eggs with the lemon juice and zest.
Add to the larger bowl and mix well.
Pour into a prepared 8X8 brownie pan.
Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
You can double the recipe and bake in a
9X13 pan for 30 minutes.
Remove and let cool, then glaze.
How to make the Lemon Glaze
1/2C powdered sugar
1 T lemon juice
additional lemon zest
Stir together!
Notes About Lemon Brownies
Yes, these are kind of just lemon bars but I love calling them Lemon brownies!
Just a quick note, I use parchment paper on the bottom. They come out so easily so that you are able to cut them on a flat cutting board.
This recipe does NOT use baking powder or baking soda, I’ve made them dozens of times and have never had any issues with them being flat – the photos I have shared are the way they come out of the pan every single time.
