Ingredients

  • 1 lb fully cooked smoked ham, cut into 1/2 inch cubes (about 3 C)
  • 4 celery stalks, chopped
  • 4 carrots, chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cans (10.5 oz each) chicken broth
  • 2 C (1 lb) lentils, rinsed
  • 4 C water

Step 1

1. Mix all ingredients in 5 to 6 qt slow cooker.
2. Cover and cook on LOW 8-10 hours or until lentils are tender.
