Pork Loin Chops with Cinnamon Apples

Ingredients
- 1 tsp. dried rubbed sage
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 4 (4 oz.) boneless center-cut pork chops, (about 1/2" thick)
- 1/2 tsp. canola oil
- 2 Granny Smith apples
- 1 tsp. butter, divided
- 1 Tb. brown sugar, divided
- 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice, divided
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided
- 1/8 tsp. salt, divided

Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine sage, salt and pepper; sprinkle over the pork. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat. Add pork; cook 3 minutes on each side or until done. Remove pork from pan; cover and keep warm.
2. Peel and core apples; cut each apple crosswise into 6 slices. Melt 1/2 tsp. butter in pan over medium heat; add 6 apples slices, 1 1/2 tsp. sugar, 1/ tsp. juice, 1/4 tsp. cinnamon, and dash of salt. Cook 3 minutes or until browned. Remove apple slices from pan; repeat procedure with remaining 6 apples slices and rest of ingredients. Serve apples slices with pork.
Each serving (1 pork chop and 3 apple slices)=246 calories
