Ingredients

1 c sugar
3/4 c Crisco
1/4 c molasses
2 c flour
2 t baking soda
1/2 t ginger
1/2 t cloves
1 t cinnamon
1 egg

Preparation

Step 1

Melt first 3 ingredients in sauce pan. Add dry ingredients and the egg. Let stand in fridge until cold. Roll dough in hands into a ball the size of a walnut. Roll each ball in granulated sugar. Bake at 350 for 7-8 minutes.
