Ingredients
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 c water
- 1 c uncooked rice
- 1 c raisins
- 1/4 c firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 c walnuts
- 1 c sour cream
- 1/4 tsp ground cinammon
- 2 tsp lemon juice

Step 1
1. Bring the salt and water to a boil in 2-quart saucepan. Add the rice. Stir once, reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 18 to 20 minutes, or until all the water is absorbed.
2. Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, combine the raisins, sugar, walnuts, sourcream, cinammon, and lemon juice. Add the warm rice, stir to mix, and serve warm or cold.
