  • 1 envelope Robin Hood Flaky or Brodie XXX Pie Crust Mix
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 cup granulated sugar
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted

Step 1

PREHEAT OVEN TO 425°F (220°C) • 9-INCH (23 CM) PIE PLATE

1. Prepare pastry according to package directions for unbaked 9-inch (23 cm) pie shell using half the dough (reserve remaining pastry for future use).
2. Spread pecans over pastry. Combine eggs, sugar, salt, corn syrup and melted butter. Beat well. Pour over pecans. Bake on lower oven rack at 425°F (220°C) for 10 minutes, then reduce temperature to 350°F (180°C) and bake for 25 to 30 minutes longer or just until set. Cool.
