Ingredients
- Pizza:
- Refrigerated Pillsbury Pizza Dough (Thin) - in tube
- 4 oz. Italian Shredded Cheese (Mozz./Provolone/Parmesan/Romano blend)
- Store Bought or Homemade Pesto (see below)
- Fresh Mozzarella Cheese - Sliced
- 4-5 Roma Tomatoes - Sliced
- Fresh Basil Leaves
- Pesto:
- Olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- couple basil leaves-torn)
- Grated parmesan cheese
- salt & pepper

Preparation
Step 1
1. Roll out dough onto greased cookie sheet. Bake for 5 minutes or until lightly browned at 400 degrees. Remove from oven
2. Slice tomatoes into ¼ inch slices. Place onto paper towel-lined cutting board. Sprinkle both sides evenly with salt; let stand 15 minutes
3. Spread a thin layer of pesto over browned pizza dough and crust.
3. Sprinkle Italian cheese, then top with tomatoes and fresh mozzarella slices.
4. Bake for anouther 6-8 minutes or until cheese is melted. Top wih basil leaves for last minute of baking.
