AVOCADO SALSA

This salsa is great on a salad, with chips, or on top of any kind of grilled meat. It really helps perk up a low-carb diet with lots of flavor.

Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado, coarsly chopped
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped red onion
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped jalapeno chile pepper (wear plastic gloves when handling) add to shopping list
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon coarsely chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tablespoon seeded and chopped ripe tomato
- salt
- ground black pepper

Step 1
In a large bowl, add the avocado, onion, jalapeno pepper, lime juice, cilantro, and tomato. Stir carefully, trying not to break up the avocado. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
