- 4 lbs. hamburger meat
- 4 T. Morton Tender Quick salt
- 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp. liquid smoke
- 2 T. coarse ground black pepper
- 2 c. water
Knead well, working water into meat with other ingredients. Roll in foil & refrigerate for 24 hours. Unroll & bake 1 hour & 15 minutes at 325º.
**Original recipe called for onion & garlic salt but was too salty so substituted with powder.
