- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 lime zest
- 1 grapefruit zest
- 1 orange zest
- 3 star anise
- 1/2 cinnamon stick
- Allspice berries

Preparation
Step 1
place all ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. reduce heat and simmer, covered for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let steep for at least two hours. Strain and decant into a sterilized bottle.
Store in refrigerator.
