- you can make fruit smoothies in a blender with the unflavored soy protein to increase it's protein value. but remember don't have smoothies at night; for it does have sugar due to juice & fruit. don't
- 1/2 - 1 cup fruit - fresh or frozen (like strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, mango, peaches, banana, etc)
- 1 cup orange juice or apple juice or flavored diet soda like orange, etc. (diet soda lowers the calories) or low-fat milk or even cold water
- ice (only if using fresh fruit - not necessary with frozen fruit)
- 6 - 8 oz. low-fat plain yogurt (optional - depending on thickness desired)
- 1 scoop unflavored, unsweetened soy protein or whey protein
- 1 pkt splenda (optional - only needed if not sweet enough - taste first before adding - you may not need)
- blend ingredients in that order... blend fruit & liquid first, then add ice & yogurt (optional) - lastly add soy protein powder and splenda (optional)
