Ingredients

  • 2 Eggs (beaten)
  • 1 cup Italian Style Seasoned Bread Crumbs
  • 2 slices White Bread (soaked in milk and excess liquid squeezed out)
  • 1/2 cup Yellow Onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard
  • 2 tablespoon Bacon Grease
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Steak Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 packet of Onion Soup Mix
  • 1/4 cup Raisins
  • 2 Carrots (grated)
  • 1 cup freshly grated Locatelli Cheese
  • 2 pounds ground Beef
  • 1 tablespoon Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon Brown Sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix all but the last two ingredients. Put in shallow baking pan and shape into loaf. Bake about 50 minutes or until cooked through.

Remove from oven, spread with ketchup and brown sugar mixture. Return to oven for another 10 minutes. Remove and allow to cool before slicing and serving.
