Cinnamon Roll Dough

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup (1/2 cube) butter or margarine, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 teaspoons yeast
- 5 - 6 cups white flour
- Variation: Replace one of the cups of white flour with a cup of whole wheat flour

Step 1
Mix water, butter (margarine), sugar and salt together.
Add yeast.
Let yeast ferment for 10 to 12 minutes.
Mix in flour and knead dough until it is through taking in flour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a 9x13 pan and put a thin layer of brown sugar on the bottom of the pan.
Break out dough, roll it out in a rectangle about a quarter inch thick.
Rub a tablespoon of melted butter(margarine) over its surface.
Cover the surface with a thin layer of brown sugar (or more, if you like). Sprinkle the surface with cinnamon.
Roll the dough from the long side (like a jelly roll).
Cut through the roll of dough every 1/2 inch.
Place each cut piece side by side covering the 9 x 13 pan.
If necessary, press the dough down into the pan to completely cover the pan bottom surface.
Let rise for 45 minutes.
Bake for 28-30 minutes.
