Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup salad oil
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 t rosemary, crushed
  • 1/2 t dry mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 pounds round steak
  • 3 t baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Preparation

Step 1

Add baking soda to water and soak meat for at least 15 minutes.

Mix together all other ingredients. Once meat is tenderized, add to marinade and store for at least 4 hours.

Bring to room temperature. Broil or grill for 15 - 20 minutes for rare.
