Ingredients
- 1 Med. Onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 10 oz. sliced mushrooms
- 8 oz. tomato sauce
- 5-1/2 oz. tomato paste
- 2 tsp. salt
- 6 oz. mozzarella
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 3/4 c. water
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- 1 c. cottage cheese
- 1/3 c. grated parmesan cheese
- 500 g. lasagna

Preparation
Step 1
Saute onion and garlic in half the oil, add ground beef and brown, breaking it apart with fork. Stir in mushrooms with liquid, tomato sauce, tomato paste, half the salt, oregano and water. Simmer 15 mins. Combine egg, cottage cheese, parmesan cheese and remaining salt. Add to meat mixture and assemble in 9 x 13 pan, put mozzarella on top and bake at 350 for 20 to 30 mins.
