Ingredients
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
- 2 fresh green chillies, deseeded and chopped fine
- 2 tsp ground coriander
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 500 g / 1 lb 2 oz extra lean minced beef
- 150 g / 5 oz frozen peas
- 2 tbsp curry powder
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce or passata
- 4 large ripe tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp artificial sweetener
- 250 ml / 9 fl oz hot beef stock made with Bovril
- 2 tbsp non-fat plain yogurt
- Large handful of freshly chopped coriander leaves

Preparation
Step 1
Spray a large frying pan with cooking spray and place over medium heat. Add chillies, ground coriander, cumin and beef and stir-fry for 6-7 minutes or until meat is browned.
Stir in the peas, curry powder, passata, tomatoes and sweetener. Stir and cook for 3-4 minutes and then add the hot stock. Bring to the boil, cover, reduce the heat and simmer gently for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from the heat. Season with salt, stir in the yogurt and chopped coriander and serve.
