Valentine (Cut out) Cookies/ Vick's (The Best)

Ingredients

• Cookie ingredients:
• 1/2 Cup Butter
• 1/4 Cup (butter flavored) Crisco
• 1 Cup Sugar
• 3 Eggs
• 1 tsp Vanilla
• 2 1/2 Cup Flour
• 1 tsp Baking Powder
• 1 tsp Salt
• Frosting:
• 1/3 Cup (softened) Butter
• 3 Cups Powdered Sugar
• 1 1/3 tsp Vanilla
• just enough Milk to make spreading consistency. Add food coloring if you would like.

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter, Crisco, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Blend in remaining ingredients. Cover and chill in freezer for 5-10 mins. Roll dough out , 1/8 in. thick and cut with cookie cutters. Bake on ungreased sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees fro 6-8 mins or until just turning light brown.

Vanilla Butter Frosting:
Combined 1/3 Cup Soft Butter
3 Cups Powdered Sugar
1 1/3 tsp Vanilla
just enough milk to make spreading consistency. Add a few drops food coloring if you would like.
