Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour*
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup extra fine granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 large eggs
- Grated rind of 2 lemons
- Lemon Glaze
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup Dixie Crystals

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Cream butter, sugar and eggs.
3. Add milk, lemon rind and dry ingredients. Stir well.
4. Bake in loaf pan for 45 minutes.
5. To prepare lemon glaze, mix lemon juice with 1/2 cup powdered sugar and pour over loaf while hot.
