Ingredients
- 2 (1 1/2 lb) Cornish Hens, split lenghtwise
- Garlic Salt
- Salt and Pepper
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 4 ounces sliced mushrroms
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1/3 cup sour cream
Preparation
Step 1
Sprinkle hens with seasonings; place cut side down in a lightly greased 13x9x2-inch baking dish. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Saute onion and mushrooms in butter over medium heat for 5minutes; stir in wine. Pour wine mixture over hens. Bake an additional 25 minutes or until juice runs clear when thigh is pierced with a fork. Place hens on a serving platter, reserving pan drippings. Stir sour cream into pan drippings, and pour over hens.
