  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry
  • 1/3 cup pesto sauce
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 egg beaten with 1 teasp. water

Step 1

Thaw pastry 20 minutes. Unfold and roll on a lightly floured surface to a 14" X 11" rectangle. Spread evenly with pesto and sprinkle with parmesan. Starting at the long end, roll pastry like a jelly roll. Cut crosswise into 3/8 inch thick slices. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet and brush with egg. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes Transfer to wire rack and serve warm. Serve immediately.
