Ingredients
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
- 1 cup dates, pitted and soaked in water 10 minutes (discard water)
- 1 vanilla bean, clip off both ends
- 2 tablespoons raw unheated honey
- 2 tablespoons raw carob powder

Preparation
Step 1
In food processor using the "S" blade add almonds and sunflower seeds.
Process until almonds and sunflower seeds are finely ground.
Add dates, vanilla bean, honey, carob powder.
Process until everything is well ground.
Wash your hands and use to roll the mixture into balls about the size of a golf ball.
Variation: add 4 - 5 drops of peppermint extract for an alternative peppermint taste. Great for Mexican desserts and Christmas treats.
