Preparation

Step 1

First time I did this, I used dried cherries, then I used dark chocolate yogurt covered raisins. This last time, no fruit at all. Fruit makes it a bit chewy. Mix all ingredients together well, using your largest bowl. I used 2 cookie sheets, with rims. Covered them in tinfoil and then put down layer of wax paper. Spread equal amounts onto both cookie sheets. Pressed down. Recipe calls for 40 min @ 325 degrees.

Mine will burn if I left it in for 40 min. I rotated my pans about 15 min. You will just have to watch it. Don't under cook and don't burn it either. When the majority of it turns golden on top, time to take out. Once it cools, you can put this into a Tupperware container. Stays for approx. 2 weeks. Some breaks into hunks or small pieces. Good with either yogurt or milk, as cereal, or to eat as is like a snack. I do not have calorie or nutritional info. on this. Sorry. But it is good! Don't add more honey or syrup! I added more on this last batch, and a lot stuck to the wax paper...not good. But play with the recipe to make it your own. Good Luck.
