- 2 c.Flour 2c.sugar 1/2c.cocoa powder 1/4t.salt 1 1/2t. baking soda 1/2c.vegetable shortening 1c.milk 1/2c.cold black coffee 1t.vanilla and 2LG. eggs .

Preparation
Step 1
In a LG. bowl mix flour,sugar,cocoa,baking soda and salt.
Beat in the shortening with an electric mixer on low,Beat in milk,coffee and
vanilla until combined .Mix on high for 2 minutes. Add eggs,and beat for 2 more minutes. Pour into 2-9" pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick
comes out clean.Cool CAKE 5 minutes onto wire rack to cool completely before
frosting ,or put confectioner sugar .
