Step 1
Cut cabbage in half, cut away & discard the hard, whitish core. Slice into wedges. Drop into a large pot filled with boiling, salted water & boil until the cabbage is just tender, about 5-7 min. Cabbage should be crisp-tender & retain its color. Drain well
