Ingredients
- 2 T EVOO
- 1 lg brown onion, chopped finely
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped finely
- 500 g beef mince
- 1 medium potato, chopped finely
- 1 medium carrot, chopped finely
- 1/4 c tomato paste
- 2 T dijon mustard
- 1/4 c worch sauce
- 1 T sugar
- 1 T red wine vinegar
- 1 c beef stock
- 1/2 frozen peas
- 1/2 c frozen corn kernels
- 6 sheets shortcrust pastry
- 1 egg, beaten

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in a large fry pan over high heat. cook the onion and garlic until soft. Add teh veef and cook, for 5 minutes until browned.
Stir in the potato and carot, then the tomato paste, cook , stirring for 1 minute. Add teh mustard, Worc sauce, sugar and vinegar, and stir to combine. Add stock and 1/2 c water and bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simer, uncovered, for 10 minutes, until the potato is soft and mixture has thickened. stir in peas and corn, set aside to cool.
Preheat oven to 170 fanforced (190C)
Cut circles and fill with beef mixture. seal and brush with egg wash. Bake for 35 minutes or until GBD.
