Ingredients
- Soak 16 oz bag Whole Green Peas overnight: Cover with water and add 1 tsp baking soda.
- Cook soup meat. Cover with water and some minced onion and simmer.
- 5-6 Potatoes (cut into sm pieces)
- 1-2 Lg Carrots (chopped)
- 1 tsp soda
- 2 T. Beef Base to taste

Step 1
Soak Peas. Cook meat. Add peas to pot and cover with water. Add potatoes and carrots and bring to a boil. Slowly add 1 tsp baking soda and 2-4 T. beef base (or to taste) Cook until peas break up. Careful when adding soda, as not to boil over. :)
