Ingredients
- 9-12 fillets of fish – any firm white fish will do
- Juice of one lemon
- 2 tsp season salt – Mrs Knudson's works good
- 2 tsp freshly ground pepper
- 2 cloves garlic – minced or mashed – you can also use jarred
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 2 T chopped parsley
- 2 T chopped green onion
- 2 T dry breadcrumbs
- 4 T melted butter

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350° - rack in the middle position
Rinse and dry fish fillets with paper towels. Rub with lemon juice and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle or spread garlic in the bottom of a greased 13”x9” baking pan.
Place the fillets in the pan and pour the wine over the top. Sprinkle with parsley, green onion and breadcrumbs. Melt the butter and spoon it on.
Cover the pan loosely with foil.
Bake for 50 minutes. Take off the foil and bake 15 minutes longer.
Pour off most of the liquid before serving. This fish is wonderful served with crusty bread and a tangy green salad.
