Ingredients

  • 3/4

    tbsp coriander

  • 1

    tsp cumin

  • 1/4

    tsp cloves

  • 1/2

    tsp sugar

  • 1

    tsp salt

  • 1/4

    tsp tumeric

  • 1/4

    tsp nutmeg

  • 1/2

    tsp cinnamon

  • 1/4-1/2

    tsp ginger

  • 1 1/2

    tbsp flour

  • few sprinkles black pepper

    tablespoons canola or vegetable oil

    about 2/3 cup chicken stock

  • 2

    tablespoon more flour

    tsp dried minced onion

Directions

1. Combine 1 1/2 tablespoons of flour with all of the spices and black pepper. Mix together with a fork. 2. Lightly sprinkle/coat chicken thighs with sea salt. Then, using a spoon, sprinkle the flour-spice mix lightly on each side of the chicken thighs. 3. Add the oil to a skillet/pan (make sure it's oven-safe) and also make sure the oil evenly coats the pan. When the oil is hot, begin adding the chicken. Brown on each side until golden, turning once with tongs. 4. Combine broth, remaining flour and onion in a bowl. Pour into the pan with the browned chicken. 5. Drizzle chicken with honey (to balance out the flavors). Cover the pan and bake the chicken for 40 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven.
