- Rouladen strips
- Dijon mustard
- Finely chopped onion
- Slices of partially cooked bacon (keep grease in pan)
- Quarter of dill pickle (laid opposite way to bacon)
- 1 can of beef broth
- Cornstarch
- Red wine
- Marjoram

Step 1
Spread rouladen strips thickly with mustard, cover with onion, bacon slice, dill pickle and then roll up. Secure with toothpicks. Brown in bacon grease. Transfer to separate dish and cover with beef broth for gravy. Add a bit of red wine and sprinkle with marjoram. Cooked slowly for 30 to 45 minutes and then thicken beef broth with cornstarch.
