Ingredients
- Cupcakes:
- 1 box white cake mix + ingredients on box
- 1 cup bottled strawberry margaritas mix
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup tequila
- 3 egg whites or whole eggs
- Frosting:
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup butter; softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp bottled strawberry margarita mix
- Sliced limes- garnish

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350*F. Place paper cupcake tins in a 24 cupcake tray
2. In a large bowl, beat all cupcake ingredients until combined
3. Bake 18-23 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
4. Allow cupcakes to cool completely
5. In a large bowl, beat shortening and butter with an electric mixer on low speed until smooth
6. Gradually add powdered sugar and beat until combined
7. Add margarita mix slowly and beat until frosting is light and fluffy
8. Spoon frosting into decorating bag and pipe frosting. Garnish with lime slices if desired
