Marilyn's Lasagna

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground sirloin beef
- 1 lb spicy ground sausage
- 1 link linguica (Silva brand mild)
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 yellow onion chopped
- 1 lg can crushed tomatoes
- 1 can Del Monte Spaghetti Sauce (any flavor)
- 1 palm full of Italian Seasoning
- 1 package 10 oz sliced mushrooms
- 1 lg container Precious Ricotta Cheese
- 1 lg ball Precious Mozarella Cheese
- 1 package of Fresh Parmeasean, Shredded
- 1 package Bartolli Oven Ready Lasagna Noodles (label does not matter, just make sure they are oven ready, you don't have to boil them ahead)
- Red Wine to taste, approx 1 cup

Preparation
Step 1
Cut linguica in quarter pieces and microwave on a paper plate (cover paper plate with paper towels and put cut linguica on paper towel and cover with another paper towel to catch the grease) microwave appox 1:50 minutes.
In a large pot, brown ground beef and sausage, add the chopped onions, garlic until cooked. Add the crushed tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, italian seasoning, linguica,mushrooms, and red wine. Bring to boil and simmer approx 30 minute. If you make it earlier in the day, you can let it set to flavor until you are ready to put together.
Shred all of the Mozarella in a large bowl
Shred 1/2 of the Parmesean in another bowl
In a 13 x 9 pyrex or aluminum pan, put approx 1/2 cup of the sauce on the bottom. Layer with the noodles, then sprinkle 2/3 of the Mozarella over the noodles. Spread 2/3 of the Ricotta cheese over the mozarella and sprinkle some of the parmesean cheese. repeat for the next layer adding a little more sauce to cover the cheese & noodles. the last layer just finish with any left over spaghettti sauce and cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for approx 40 minutes or until you see the sauce bubbling.
