White Chicken Chili

Ingredients
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 T olive oil
- 3 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size chunks
- 4 cans (15.5 oz each) cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 cans (14 oz each) fat-free, reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 1 can (4.5 oz) chopped green chile peppers
- 1 t each salt and cumin
- 3/4 t dried oregano
- 1/2 t each chili powder and ground black pepper
- 1/8 t ground cloves
- 1/8 t ground red pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Saute onions and garlic in oil in large pot over medium-high heat. Add chicken and brown 5 minutes. Transfer mixture to 4-quart slow cooker. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Cover and cook on low 4 to 6 hours. Uncover and cook 1 hour longer, stirring occasionally.
