- 1 20 oz can crushed pineapple, drained and reserve liquid
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 T butter
- Cake
- 1 box pineapple cake mix
- 3 eggs
- reserved pineapple juice, add water to equal 1 1/4
- 1/3 cup oil

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, melt butter in bunt pan in the oven. Spray cooking spray on the part of the pan that are not covered by melted butter. Spread pineapple and brown sugar all over bottom of cake pan. Mix cake ingredients according to the package directions. Pour cake mix over toppings and bake 40 minutes until golden brown. Test doneness with toothpick comes out clean. Immediately invert into serving plate.
