Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 sticks butter
  • 2 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 12 oz package chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350*F
2. Grease 9x13 pan
3. Beat butter and sugar in bowl until creamy
4. Add 1 egg at a time; beating well
5. Mix in flour, baking powder, and salt
6. Fold in chips and nuts
7. Add to pan
8. Bake approximately 20-25 minutes until top is lightly browned
9. Transfer to wire rack and let cool
10. Cut into bars
