VIETNAMESE BANABA CAKE

1 baguette (small loaf of French bread), 1 can of coconut milk, 2 cups of sugar, 2 tsp of cornstarch, 5 bananas, 1 lime. In a bowl slice bananas. Add one cup of sugar and let stand for 15 minutes until a glaze forms, then stir. In a separate bowl, break bread into small pieces. Pour coconut milk over bread. Add sugar and cornstarch. Stir until softened. Spoon bread mixture into a 9 inch cake pan. Spread evenly. Spoon banana mixture over bread. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes. Let cake cool. Serve each slice of cake with a lime slice. Squeeze lime juice over cake.
