Ingredients

  • 6 medium apples
  • Brown sugar
  • Butter
  • Cinnamon
  • Nutmeg
  • Raisins/craisins
  • Orange juice (1/4 cup)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Peel and core apples
2. Place apples in a glass baking dish
3. Place a dollop of butter on each apple, sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg (to taste)
4. Add raisins and craisins to the dish (to taste)
5. Fill the dish ¼ of the way up with water.
6. Pour orange juice in dish
7. Cover with tin foil and bake under apples are tender
8. Cover dish and let apples brown for 3-5 minutes then remove and let cool
