READY TO GO CHILLI

: 1 pound lean ground beef, 1 medium onion, 2 cans (15ounces each) pinto beans (undrained), 1 can (28oz) diced tomatoes, undrained, 1 can (15oz) tomato sauce, 1 can (4oz) chopeed green chilies, (undrained) 2 tbsp chili powder, 1 tsp ground cumin, ½ tsp salt and pepper. In a large soup pot, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat for 5-7 minutes. Add all the remaining ingredients, reduce the heat to a medium-low and cok for 1 hour or until the chili has thickened, stiring occasionally. Can add hot pepper sauce or cayenne pepper to spice it.
